The B&H high school teachers attended a 5-day educational course devoted to didactics in chemistry, its modernization, as well as use of digitalized materials in chemistry.
During this course, the first meeting day was devoted between the VET teachers and the private stakeholders from B&H, where stakeholders described the essential features of high school graduates to be employed in the field of chemistry, which skills should graduates have, and what should be included in their education to ensure their professional competencies in this sector.
Besides that, university employees will describe necessary knowledge and skill of chemistry high school graduates, to continue their education at the university.
Identified needs are expected to be included in teaching materials for students to ensure the modernization and modification of curricula and the teaching of chemistry in these high schools.
Also, other high school teachers that are not part of CHEMTEACH consortium was be invited to this course, to ensure the visibility of the project and transfer of know-how to wide range of high schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After the completion of this course, results was summarized in form of a short guide to ensure all specified needs of stakeholders, university teachers as well as high school teachers, were included in preparation of teaching materials for B&H high school teachers and students.
