Deliverables:
- Teaching didactic guide (EN version, B&H version)
- Teaching_multimedia and digital Resources (EN version, B&H version)
This activity will start from the end of WP2 and will last during the whole duration of the project.
The Guide for Bosnian high school teachers will include the needs defined in WP2 and will be written by professors of STU and UNIBL. This guide will consist of three parts:
1. Chemistry didactics and its modernization
The first part of this teaching material will contain an overview of chemistry didactics, with a particular focus on its modernization and current trends in teaching.
2. Digitalization and multimedia in chemistry education
The second part of the material will be devoted to digitalization in chemistry and the possibilities of its use in chemistry education. Additionally, this part will include approaches for the effective utilization of multimedia in the teaching of chemistry.
3. “Green” chemistry experiments
The third part will contain so-called “green” experiments, which will utilize alternative, easily accessible, non-toxic chemicals (e.g., vinegar, baking and cooking ingredients, naturally occurring substances in vegetables and fruits). These experiments will serve as alternatives to those usually used in the teaching process, but will require significantly lower budgets and will be safe to perform even without special chemical facilities (such as a fume hood). In this way, an environmentally friendly approach will be demonstrated while maintaining the same quality of chemistry education.
